The Stella Beach Hotel
is a comfortable holiday facility with a very private atmosphere, located on the beach of  Panormo, roughly 1 km west of the village center.
The 42 double bedrooms are also used as single bedrooms.
In front of the house on the sea front there is a large garden which frames the sun terrace and the swimming pool.

Panormo
is a fishing village on the north coast of the island of Crete, 63 kms west of Iraklion and 21 kms east of Rethymnon.
In former times Panormo was the port of the town of Eleftherna which is 22 kms to the south.
Eleftherna which has now been excavated was one of the most important cities of ancient Crete.

There are some small swimming-bays with sandy beaches west of the port. In the summer the village center is closed to traffic and the tavernas fill the narrow lanes with tables.
